Solar project tracking systems

San Jose, Calif. — SunPower Corporation’s SunPower Trackers are patented single-axis tracking systems for large-scale solar electric projects and power plants. Garner, N.C. — Hamlin Companies, a provider of commercial roofing contract services and the manufacturing of commercial HVAC duct systems, has launched Hamlin Energy Solutions, a division that designs and installs solar energy solutions for the commercial and industrial construction market, the company reports. PV Panels

Cypress, Calif. — Mitsubishi Electric & Electronics USA, Inc. provided photovoltaic (PV) panels for the Sierra Nevada Brewery in Chico, Calif. (See Sustainable Facility, October 2007). The 1.3-megawatt system is being installed in two phases by Chico Electric, and will provide 34 percent of the brewery’s power. Energy-Efficient LED Luminaire Fixture
