Edmonton, Alberta — The University of Alberta has implemented a full-scale green cleaning program, Cleaning for a Healthy U.” The program was developed in conjunction with JohnsonDiversey, a global provider of cleaning and hygiene solutions, with a goal of reducing the amount of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) used in cleaning while also eliminating many of the airborne particulates indoors.
“Cleaning for a Healthy U” joins an extensive set of sustainable programs already in place at the university, including recycling initiatives along with energy and water conservation strategies.
