Welcome to the Targeted Sustainable Facility eNews, HVAC/R |

|
Well, the AHR Expo has come and gone. By all accounts, it was an excellent show. A large number
of exhibitors put their wares on display for a sizeable number of attendees. It was proof that despite these trying economic times, people are willing to take time out of their day to attend a show or spend the money to exhibit at a show.
Granted, the AHR Expo always has a strong pull. I think that this year's show had a strong draw because people are looking for ways to save on costs. A great way to do that is by cutting down on operating expenses. HVAC/R systems are a key ingredient in the reduction of costs. Outdated and inefficient systems can really be an albatross hanging around the neck of the facility manager seeking every means possible to reducing said costs. Increasing efficiency by either upgrading or effectively maintaining a system is just the way to go, and there's no better place to get the lowdown on the industry than at the AHR Expo.
This Targeted eNews brings the latest in sustainability from the show, and beyond, right to your desktop. Hope you enjoy it.
Cheers,
Derrick Teal Sustainable Facility Managing Editor
