Editor's Note

Welcome to Sustainable Facility's eNews for November 2009

derrick2

A few months ago, I asked our eNews readers if you were planning on attending this year's Greenbuild. A lot of you indicated that you were unfamiliar with this green-focused show. Well, the show is happening next week, and Sustainable Facility will be reporting from the show floor all next week via our USGBC microsite in conjunction with ED+C magazine. If you're unfamiliar with the show and would like to learn more, or if you just can't make it, this is a great way to see the highlights of the show that's all about building and maintaining green facilities.

In the meantime, we are already accepting submissions of products making an appearance at this year's show. If you have a product that's going to be on display, send a brief description and product image to me at teald@bnpmedia.com so we can post it to the site. Remember to include your booth number!

I also want to take a moment to thank everyone who attended our recent webinar, Beyond Cool & Sustainable - The Five E's of High-Performance Roofing . It was a great success. If you were unable to attend the webinar live, you can still sign up for the archived version and earn 1.0 AIA-HSW-SD learning unit and 1.0 GBCI CE hour.

Need more GBCI CE hours? Then check out our webinar Open Forum: Sustainable Interior Design for the Facilities Manager. Be sure to visit www.EDCmag.com/Webinars for a full listing of all of our webinars.

Cheers,

Derrick Teal
